The Prestina portable coffee maker designed by Wacaco reinvents the French Press principle thanks to a patented mechanism where the cup itself activates the press.
Combining immersion brewing with gentle pressure-assisted extraction, it produces rich and aromatic coffee.
The Prestina portable coffee maker is based on a highly intuitive system:
Controlled brewing: An integrated anti-drip valve holds hot water and ground coffee in the brewing chamber to develop all the aromas.
Palm-assisted extraction: Simply press with the palm of your hand. The constant pressure gradually opens the valve to let the coffee flow directly into the cup below. No premature drips, a perfect result on the first try!
The Wacaco Prestina coffee machine works without electricity, without batteries, without capsules, and without any paper filters. In fact, it is designed with a permanent stainless steel filter that lets natural oils and precious coffee aromas pass through to provide a smooth, creamy, and textured cup.
The ritual boils down to 4 steps: Prepare, Pour, Brew, Press.
Designed for seamless daily use, the Prestina includes a minimal number of parts and wide openings, allowing for very quick and easy cleaning. Once you have enjoyed your coffee, every part disassembles and rinses in a few seconds under the tap.
The coffee maker and its cup nest perfectly into each other to form an ultra-compact set measuring 13.4 x 8.5 cm and weighing only 254 g. It slips effortlessly into an office drawer, a weekend bag, your hiking backpack, or even the drawer of your van, converted vehicle, or motorhome.
The Wacaco Prestina portable coffee maker is a 254 g immersion travel brewer featuring a patented cup-press extraction system, a permanent stainless steel filter, and an anti-drip valve, perfect for preparing rich coffee without electricity or paper filters.
