As its name suggests, the Boxio separating toilet separates urine and solid matter into 2 distinct tanks. The litter thus helps absorb moisture from solids and reduce odors.

Using them is quick! Simply place a plastic bag in the solid tank and open the urine cap. Once finished, simply close the cap of the urine container and put shavings on the solids to dry them out and limit odors. You can then close the lid and store your Boxio toilet in the space you have dedicated to it.
Separating toilets are easy to clean: fecal matter collected in the bag can be thrown in the trash and urine can be poured into a toilet or down the drain. Therefore, you will not need to find a black water emptying site or a soiled waste disposal station to empty your portable toilet.
