Affiliate Program / Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose of the program

The Casambu affiliate program, operated via the Shopify Collabs application, allows partners (hereinafter "the Affiliate") to promote a selection of products offered on the casambu.com website and to receive a reward on sales generated through their recommendations.

Participation in the program implies full and complete acceptance of these conditions.

2. Eligibility

The affiliate program is open to individuals or legal entities with an active communication platform (website, blog, social networks, media, newsletter, etc.) related to the worlds of vanlife, outdoor, travel, camping or lifestyle, as well as professionals in the vanlife sector, such as outfitters, van or motorhome rental companies, and other players in nomadic life, wishing to recommend Casambu products to their audience or customers.

Casambu reserves the right:

to accept or reject any application,
to suspend or terminate a partnership at any time,
to refuse any collaboration that does not correspond to its values, editorial line or objectives.

3. Registration and validation

Registration for the program is free and is done via Shopify Collabs.

Each application is manually reviewed by the Casambu team within an indicative timeframe of 10 working days.
Due to the number of applications received, some applications may be rejected, without this constituting a personal or professional judgment.

4. Tools provided via Shopify Collabs

Once accepted, the Affiliate has access, via Shopify Collabs:

unique and personal affiliate links,
possibly affiliate promotional codes,
a dashboard allowing tracking of clicks, sales and rewards.

Affiliate links and codes are strictly personal and may not be shared, transferred, or used fraudulently.

5. Eligible Products and Brands

Some products and brands selected by Casambu are not part of the affiliate program.

No reward will be given for sales made on these excluded products or brands, even if an affiliate link was used.

The following brands are excluded from the affiliate program: Boxio, Cadac, Camper Van Week-End, Campinambulle, Dometic, Fiamma, IKamper, Kampa, NaïtUp, Omnia, Telair, Thule, VickyWood.

The list of eligible products and brands may change at any time, without prior notice.

6. Sales Attribution & Cookies

Sales tracking is handled by Shopify Collabs.

When a user clicks on an affiliate link, a cookie is placed for a period of 30 days.

Sales are attributed according to the "Last Click / Last Cookie Wins" principle:

If a user clicks on multiple affiliate links, only the last interaction is taken into account;
No reward can be given if the cookie is deleted or expires.

7. Rewards and commissions

Rewards are calculated on the pre-tax amount of orders actually paid for, excluding:

delivery costs,
gift cards,
products or brands excluded from the program,
products heavily discounted or in special offers.

The level of reward granted to the Affiliate depends in particular on:

from his profile,
the quality and relevance of the content produced,
of the sales volume generated,
of the buyer's profile (first order or repeat purchase)
of the type of partnership put in place.

Rewards may vary from one affiliate to another and may change over time.
Casambu reserves the right to modify reward levels at any time via Shopify Collabs. Affiliates will be notified of any changes.

8. Order Validation

Rewards are only awarded for the following orders:

confirmed and cashed in,
not cancelled
not returned or refunded.

Any order returned or refunded results in the cancellation of the corresponding reward.

9. Validation and payment deadline

A 45-day validation period is applied before the payment of rewards, in order to take into account any product returns or order cancellations.

Payments are then processed via Shopify Collabs, subject to:

upon reaching the minimum threshold of €50 ,
of the correct completion of payment information by the Affiliate.

10. Affiliate's Obligations

The Affiliate agrees to:

to promote Casambu in a loyal, honest and transparent manner,
comply with applicable laws and regulations (advertising, commercial transparency, etc.),
clearly mention the presence of affiliate links or codes.
The "Casambu" trademark may not be used in paid advertising campaigns (brand bidding), including search engines or advertising platforms, without prior written authorization.
Do not distribute affiliate links or codes on coupon, cashback or discount voucher websites without written agreement from Casambu.
not to adopt deceptive, fraudulent or harmful practices to the image of Casambu.

Any breach may result in the immediate termination of the partnership and the cancellation of any current rewards.

11. Non-accumulation of benefits

Affiliate links and codes cannot be combined with other promotional offers, loyalty programs, cashback or similar benefits, unless explicitly stated otherwise by Casambu.

12. Right of control and suspension

Casambu reserves the right:

to monitor at any time the promotional methods used by the Affiliate,
to request any information necessary to verify the compliance of the partnership,
to temporarily suspend the payment of rewards in case of suspected fraud or abnormal activity, while the necessary checks are carried out.

13. Intellectual Property

The Casambu trademarks, logos, visuals and content remain the exclusive property of Casambu.

Any use is strictly limited to the framework of the affiliate program and may be revoked at any time.

14. Relationship between the parties

The Affiliate acts with complete independence.
Participation in the affiliate program cannot create a relationship of subordination, employment, agency or company between the Affiliate and Casambu.

15. Duration, suspension and termination

The program is concluded for an indefinite period.

Casambu reserves the right to:

temporarily suspend an affiliate account
terminate the partnership at any time, without notice, particularly in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions.
modify, suspend or terminate the affiliate program, in whole or in part, without compensation.

The Affiliate can withdraw from the program at any time via Shopify Collabs.

16. Liability and limitations

Casambu cannot be held responsible:

technical malfunctions of Shopify Collabs,
of a loss of rewards related to the deletion of cookies or browser blocks,
of a shortfall or loss of income suffered by the Affiliate.

17. Force majeure and closure clause of the Casambu.com website

Casambu cannot be held responsible for any failure to perform the program resulting from a force majeure event as defined by law.

In the event of cessation of activity or temporary or permanent closure of the casambu.com website, for whatever reason, the affiliate program will automatically terminate on the effective date of closure.

Affiliates will be notified of this closure by email. From the date of notification, they will have 30 days to use any vouchers or benefits related to the affiliate program.

Any rewards due for sales that were validated, not cancelled, and not returned before the closing date will remain payable, subject to:

regarding the application of the 45-day validation period,
upon reaching the minimum payment threshold,
and the availability of tracking data via Shopify Collabs.

No compensation can be claimed for sales made after the closing date, nor for any damage, lost profits or loss of revenue resulting from the closure of the site.

18. Modification of conditions

Casambu reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time.
Affiliates will be notified of any changes via Shopify Collabs or by email.

19. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action is taken.
