After many years of traveling in a van, we decided to spend four months traveling through Scandinavia in a campervan with our three-month-old daughter. It was a wonderful experience! Upon our return, we left our corporate jobs after ten years in marketing and finance to follow our dream and create a project more aligned with our values.

Together , we decided to embark on this great and wonderful adventure of entrepreneurship.

Casambu, why?

During our travels, we realized how important it was to have the right equipment while remaining very minimalist. We then wanted to share this experience with other travelers.

With Casambu, we want to offer nomadic travellers and vanlifers the equipment they need for their road trips and stays in vans, motorhomes or converted vans, whether for interior fittings or for their outdoor activities.

And where does "Casambu" come from?

A Danish artist couple "invented" the camper van in Denmark: a wooden house built on the chassis of an old truck. They then renamed their mobile home Casambu ( Casa Ambulante ) and traveled in it to Spain and Portugal.

We discovered this camper van by chance during our road trip in Scandinavia - it was a sign: Casambu was born!
