This year, many events dedicated to the vanlife and all the vehicles that allow you to travel in complete freedom will take place in the four corners of France.

More and more people are seduced by nomadic travel and these events are the perfect places to learn more about vanlife , find the dream vehicle and unearth the essentials for road trips while meeting enthusiasts and connoisseurs of vanlife!

1. Festival Envie d'Ailleurs

 

 

After a very successful first edition, Envie D'ailleurs is back in the South of France for its second edition with its 1000 square meters of slow travel exhibitors and its space dedicated to vans, the organizers are expecting more than 3000 visitors .

Envie d'ailleurs is the ecological travel festival to learn more about slow travel (hiking, biking, kayaking, bivouac, boat, horse) and meet travel actors passionate about nature . Film screenings , creative workshops , round tables , conferences , meetings with other travelers... the perfect opportunity to leave with a head full of ideas and plan your getaways in a sustainable way !

You can also meet us in the space dedicated to vans and take advantage of our selection of essential accessories for vanlife, camping and hiking.

2.SVA Original

 

 

The 11th edition of this outdoor Loire-Atlantique show will be an opportunity to discover the expedition vehicles designed for (and sometimes by) seasoned adventurers .

200 exhibitors from the development and distribution of long-term adventure vehicles sectors will be present. You will also be able to meet more than 50 adventurers who will share with the 10,000 expected visitors their experiences in their adventure vehicles (pick-ups, trucks, buses, converted vans). You can also find a biker area and a bivouac area that can accommodate up to 500 vehicles.

3. Vanlife Expo

 

 

The first edition of this indoor vanlife event located in Brittany is dedicated to highlighting more than 30 nomadic travel professional exhibitors : dealers, fitters, accessories, rental services and more. If you want to take advantage of testimonials from travel enthusiasts and food trucks, you know which show to go to next April!

4. Vanlife Festival

 

 

To discover or learn more about the world of the van 40 minutes from Brussels (Belgium) , the first edition of the Vanlife Festival, organized in an eco-responsible way , offers a wide range of exhibitors of fitted vans, roof tents, teardrops or the accessories necessary for the traveling trip. You can also attend conferences and enjoy the dishes offered by the food trucks . You will inevitably find shoes to suit your Vanlifer foot!

5. Vanlifest

 

 

Organized in a campsite in the Landes in the middle of of the forest and near the ocean , this festival focuses on DIY vanlife . Its purpose is to bring together people who want to remodel their van or who have already done so and those who are thirsty for adventure and freedom.

The 5th edition of Vanlifest will help you fill up with ideas and inspiration thanks to its conferences, its nomadic market, its exhibitors (fitters, tattoo artists, etc.) and its van fitting workshops. All in a warm and festive atmosphere because the organizers do not skimp on the means to make you have a good time : yoga sessions, regional aperitif on Saturday evening and even a dance party, what more could you ask for?

6. Campervan Weekend Brissac

 

 

The biggest event around vans and nomadic travel is back in the North West with more than 110 exhibitors specializing in vans, equipment and accessories for nomadic travel. The biggest brands of campervans and vehicles for traveling travel will be present. You will also have the opportunity to meet nomadic travelers who will share their experiences with you during roadtrips.

 Bivouac and camping areas will be set up. You can also wiggle your hips to the rhythm of the music of the We Love Van festival and taste the preparations of the food trucks . For wine lovers, a wine hike is planned. Because the Campervan Weekend Brissac is also about getting together and partying together!

The Casambu team will be delighted to meet you and discuss with you on its traveling stand during this weekend dedicated to vanlife.

7. Le Salon de l'aventure

 

 

After the success of its first edition , the Salon de l'Aventure returns in 2023 with its desire to highlight adventure enthusiasts . This show, located near Bordeaux , has 6,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 45 exhibitors specializing in adventures of all kinds : hiking, kayaking, vanlife and boating.

8. En Van Simone

 

 

For its first edition , the Auvergne festival En Van Simone promises to provide a unique experience . Its exhibition village brings together all the vanlife specialists : fitters, rental companies as well as sellers of remodeled vans, teardrops and roof tents. Food trucks and concerts are planned by the organizers to satisfy your taste buds as well as your ears.

This unique event, organized at the Mas campsite, offers a camping area to take advantage of your van as well as roadbooks with itineraries allowing you to easily discover the region of Cézallier, Sancy, or even the Chaîne des Puys .

9. Van attitude

 

 

For its first edition , the Van-attitude festival wishes to offer everyone the possibility of finding what will allow them to travel according to their abilities and needs . Listening and cooperation are the key words of this west coast vanlife event which aims to combine adventure vehicles and roadtrips with disabilities .

10. Breizh Vanlife Festival

 

 

This large, friendly gathering of converted vehicles will offer more entertainment, concerts, meetings as well as a market for craftsmen and nomadic designers. Small change for this year at the Breizh Vanlife Festival: it is 100% dedicated to sharing and good times , professional exhibitors will be present during the Vanlife Expo festival (Rennes) which is specially designed for them.

11. SVA Auvergne

 

 

For its 5th edition , this show exhibits all kinds of expedition vehicles and allows you to meet adventurers who are not shy! This show is aimed at a public who loves off-road and wishes to highlight professional exhibitors of motorcycles, sidecars, quads, SUVs, pick-ups, vans, vans and utilities. Conferences and screenings will be organized and, like the Nantes version, the atmosphere is intended to be family and good-natured.

12. Retro Camp #2

 

 

Immerse yourself in the vintage atmosphere with this retro-camping festival open to all vehicles released before the 90s . It's time to get out your camping gear and your old school outfits to enjoy the various activities such as the vintage market and retro-gaming offered during this event.

13. Salon du Tout Terrain et du Voyage

 

 

For its 21st edition , the All-Terrain Fair becomes the All-Terrain and Travel Show to allow adventurers and travelers (increasingly numerous) to find the information they need for their getaways . This show, with its 1000 square meters of exhibition space, is the largest gathering of mountain travel . Admission is free and more than 100 exhibitors dedicated to 4X4 and travel will be there. The organizers are planning a friendly traveler's area , walks and bivouacs . There is something for every taste !

14. Festivan

 

 

This Belgian festival was created by 5 friends passionate about travel and minimalism and this year will mark its second edition. The Festivan aims to bring together people interested in home-made van development and adventure by giving them all the information they need for their getaways. The second edition of this human-sized vanlife festival promises great encounters with travellers.

15. Fromentine Vintage Cup

 

 

This event aims to bring the 70s back to life and offers activities on water and on land with film screenings, board sports and of course, two surf camp areas reserved for VW Buses and even a nomadic market.

16. Rooftop Tent Festival

 

 

The roof tent is the perfect solution to equip your car and sleep in it in a compact and economical way. It allows you to save space and is more accessible than a converted vehicle in terms of price.

Would you like to learn more about this universe of flexible roaming ? This Auvergne festival offers you various activities such as setting up a camp, heating and cooking with wood or managing the lighting during an outdoor stay. Meals and concerts will also be organized to combine business with pleasure.

17. SVA Provence

 

 

After the success of its first edition , the organizers of the SVA again wish to dedicate this edition of the SVA Provence to the general public rather than to people attracted by the off-road offer of the Nantes and Clermont-Ferrand editions. The chosen exhibitors offer leisure vehicles, outdoor equipment and equipment for travel activities. The event also offers mini-trips for a day or a weekend to discover the pearls found in the Provençal region.

The Casambu team will have its dedicated stand there with all the accessories necessary for nomadic travel.

18. Campervan Weekend Chantilly

 

 

The vanlife meeting to take advantage of the end of summer is at the Campervan Weekend in Chantilly. How can you miss this vanlife event which is held in an exceptional setting: the Chantilly racecourse ? You will therefore be able to admire the selection of exhibitors of vans and vans, travel trunks, roof tents but also, between two stands, a polo tournament. Just like in Angers, we find the DNA of the festival there: vanlife, exchanges and of course, party! We hope to see many of you there!

19. RDV - Le Rendez-vous des Voyageurs

 

 

The fun and friendly gathering of Léa and Tom from @Roadofsmiles will take place for the 3rd time this year. On the program, as always, lots of meetings and good times and a nomadic market to share about nomadic travel and roadtrips.

20. Salon VDL

 

 

The VDL show is the largest show for motorhomes, vans, vans, caravans and mobile homes. In 2023, the 57th edition of this event will take place and will be held at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte. It offers the possibility of discovering a wide range of converted vehicles and accessories. A space dedicated to vehicle testing has also been set up so that, who knows, you can test your future adventure companion in real conditions!
